ABB’s building enclosure commissioning experience includes the Stanford Health Care Medical Office Building in Redwood City, California, where the firm served as the Building Enclosure Commissioning (BECx) Consultant for a new 265,000-square-foot medical office facility. Working with the commissioning agent and owner, ABB provided commissioning consulting for roofing, exterior walls, air barriers, fenestration, foundation waterproofing, and below-grade waterproofing systems.
For existing buildings and renovation projects, ABB also provides Building Enclosure and Full-Building Retro-Commissioning services to evaluate enclosure performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
