Ashford at Vista Park

Allana Buick & Bers, Inc. (ABB) was retained by Ashford at Vista Park (Ashford) Park Condominium Association to provide forensic investigation, building envelope consulting, and construction management services to complete building repairs at Ashford at Park Vista sites.

Ashford was built in 2007 as a multifamily stacked flat condominium project. Ashford includes 114 units of wood-framed construction in three residential buildings. Each building is over a cast-in-place concrete garage podium with a central courtyard.

ABB provided forensic investigation and reporting services to the building envelope systems at Ashford. ABB performed visual investigation, water testing, destructive testing, and building evaluation. ABB’s findings helped support Ashford in a construction defect litigation lawsuit.

Once the case was resolved, ABB was then retained to provide bidding, negotiation, construction management, and consulting services in implementing necessary repairs to correct building envelope defects identified in the construction defect report.
