Allana Buick & Bers, Inc. (ABBAE) was retained by the University of Hawai’i (UH) to provide investigation and remedial design services for two roof replacements on the main campus.
ABBAE was retained by UH to perform investigative services for two buildings; Watanabe Hall and Gilmore Hall. Watanabe Hall contains the Department of Physics and Astronomy. Gilmore Hall is used for the School of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources.
ABBAE provided investigative services for the roof systems, including a report with a summary of the mechanical and electrical system, identification of hazardous materials and abatement strategies.
Remedial design, construction documents, bid assistance and construction administration services for the re-roofing were also provided.
