Allana Buick & Bers, Inc. (ABBAE) was retained by the Architect of Record, Shimokawa Nakamura, Inc. (SN) to provide peer review services for the new construction of a cancer research center for the University of Hawai’i at Manoa (UH).
The Cancer Research Center of Hawaii (CRCH) will be a 140,000 SF building on the campus of the John A. Burns School of Medicine. The six-story building will contain laboratory space, offices and public areas. Features include green roofs and plaza decks.
ABBAE is providing peer review services to SN for several building envelope components including the roofing, exterior wall cladding and fenestration systems, elevator pit below-grade waterproofing and vapor barrier systems.
