Allana Buick & Bers (ABBAE) was retained by Starwood Resort and Hotels to provide leak investigation and reporting services of the mechanical and waterproofing related systems of the St. Regis Museum Residential Tower.

St. Regis Museum Tower is a high rise building located in the South of Market district of San Francisco, California. The main roof had a square paver system which was installed over a single ply roof, assumed to be the original roof installed before end of construction in 2005. Construction began on the high rise sometime around 2001. The project was completed in 2005 which included the retrofit of historic nine-story building, which was incorporated and annexed into the Tower.

ABBAE’s scope of work for this project involve a leak investigation, visual surveys, study of leak reports, related research, performance of limited spray testing, preparation of reports, and related services.

These services assisted Starwood in the determination of leak sources related to water intrusion experienced in the Penthouse Suite’s of the St. Regis Residences.
