Allana Buick & Bers, Inc. (ABBAE) was retained by HP Pavilion for remedial design and construction administration services for the roof replacement project at the HP Pavilion, SAP Center in San Jose, California.
Constructed in 1988, HP Pavilion is a concrete structure with a concrete pile foundation system. The existing roof systems is a steel truss and vented metal pan deck, the multiple layers of mechanically attached insulation and a Hypalon Chlorosulfonated Polythylene (CSPE) single-ply roofing assembly.
ABBAE conducted an onsite visit and toured majority of the various roof sections of the building to observe general roof condition and construction elements. ABBAE also provided investigation, evaluation and reporting services, construction documents, bid services, construction administration and construction monitoring.
ABBAE confirmed contract performance and review installations for compliance with intended design. ABBAE provided weekly site visits, observations, reports and photos of job site.
