Oklahoma City Courthouse
Allana Buick & Bers, Inc. (ABB), was retained by FSB Architects-Engineers (FSB) to provide Building Enclosure and Waterproofing Consulting services for the planned GSA remediation project at the Holloway Courthouse and US Postal Service Building in Oklahoma City, OK.
This project included the $114 million renovation of two historic federal buildings – the Holloway Federal Courthouse and the adjacent US Post Office Building. ABB was retained by FSB, the project Architect of Record, as the Building Envelope Consultant on the project.
We assessed the existing building enclosures and provided repair solutions and design support. During the design phase, ABB participated in FSB design charrettes, performed peer reviews of FSB’s details and technical specifications at the 65% and 95% milestones, and coordinated the building exterior scope with other building renovations and operations teams.
Planned construction phase services included contractor submittal/shop drawing review, preconstruction meeting attendance, RFI response, progress meeting attendance, site visits to review work progress and contract compliance, final inspection/D&O punch list development, and contract close-out.
