Allana Buick & Bers, Inc. (ABBAE) was retained to provided third-party inspection and reporting services for the roof insulation for the NOAA Pacific Regional Center at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Honolulu Hawaii.
The installation included the three-ply mechanically attached heat-welded modified bitumen mineral surfaced roofing system over an insulation layer by the roofing contractor, Alcal Roofing, a sub-contractor to Walsh Construction, the primary contractor.
Oversight work included visually and mechanically inspecting seams, flashing, welds, and assessing slope and surface preparation conditions for conformance with warranty qualities and standards as each layer is installed.
