Conley Group, An ABBAE Company, was retained by Neiman Marcus to provide window replacement, design development, construction documents, bid support, and construction administration for Neiman Marcus located in Dallas, Texas.
The renowned department store’s flagship location sits on Ervay Street between Main and Commerce in Dallas, Texas. The original 4-story 1914 mansard style Art Deco building has undergone numerous adjustments to be on the leading edge of the retail fashion industry. These adjustments created a patchwork, multi-level roof that challenged building personnel.
Conley Group completed a thorough evaluation which documented existing conditions and included a budgetary estimate for remedial construction. Conley Group provided remedial design documents with additional review of site conditions regarding window access and requirements for removal and replacement, project phasing requirements, schedules and construction details. Conley Group also assisted with bid/construction documents.
Conley Group representatives communicated regularly with Neiman Marcus personnel to provide information on project needs and strategically coordinate the project. As a result, the project was completed successfully, within budget and on time with minimal impact on store operations.
