Los Angeles Metro Division 61

Allana Buick & Bers, Inc. (ABB), was retained by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) to provide roofing consultation services for the Metro Division 61, Heavy Rail Maintenance of Way Facility (Division 61) located in Los Angeles, California.

ABB assisted Metro with various design phase services for the re-roofing of Division 61, starting with Preliminary Design Phase services to Design Support during construction.

ABB reviewed existing project drawings and specifications of the Division 61 Facility. ABB also provided preliminary design concept services, such as selection of a roofing system and alternative material comparisons of materials being considered.

After the selection of roofing system, ABB prepared 25 construction details and technical specifications consistent with industrial standards. Upon approval of construction documents, ABB assisted Metro with bid review and provided construction administration services.
