Dallas City Hall

Allana Buick & Bers, Inc. (ABB), provided building enclosure, waterproofing, and restoration consulting services for Dallas City Hall in Dallas, Texas. The project focused on resolving water infiltration issues, evaluating related structural damage, and supporting the design and implementation of long-term repairs.

Dallas City Hall consists of a seven-story building with a plaza and pool system located above an underground parking garage. Ongoing water infiltration created conditions that required both waterproofing remediation and structural evaluation.

At Dallas City Hall, ABB performed a comprehensive assessment of the plaza system and developed corrective action recommendations to address waterproofing and structural concerns. ABB also provided proposal recommendations and budget estimates to support the planned plaza renovation.

Additional services included roof and wall evaluations, roofing retrofit design, and recommendations for wall cleaning and repairs. The roof retrofit scope also addressed asbestos-related procedures required for removal of the existing roof system.

ABB successfully completed this project on-time, within budget and with minimal impact on Dallas City Hall operations.
