Conley Group, An ABBAE Company, was retained by City of Dallas to provide condition assessment, building envelope consulting, below-grade waterproofing, roof restoration, wall restoration, design development, construction documents, and construction administration for Dallas City Hall located in Dallas, Texas.
Dallas City Hall consists of a seven story building with plaza/pool system seated above an underground parking garage. Water infiltration issues led to structural damage that called for remediation.
Conley Group provided a comprehensive evaluation of plaza systems and identified corrective action to evaluate waterproofing and structural issues. Conley Group also provided the City of Dallas with proposal recommendations and budget estimates to proceed with plaza renovation. Conley Group conducted roof and wall evaluation to design, retrofit to roofing system and identify procedures for wall cleaning and repairs. Roof retrofit included asbestos procedures during removal of existing roof system.
Conley Group successfully completed this project on-time, within budget and with minimal impact on Dallas City Hall operations.
