448 South Hill Street
Allana Buick & Bers, Inc. (ABB) was retained by JMF Enterprise for cataloging and review of waterproof failure for the high-end night club on the top of a historic building located at 448 South Hill Street in Los Angeles.
The project is a two-level, approximately 11,000 SF lounge built on the roof of an existing historic downtown building. The Pershing Square Building was conceived and designed in 1923 by Curlett and Beelman. The building was experiencing water intrusion from multiple leaks into the finished space.
ABB reviewed drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirements on documentation provided by the Client. The project also included a draft cataloging report with photos detailing observed waterproofing deficiencies with possible recommendations for repair.
