Permitting/Plan Check Consulting services

ABB can assist with obtaining permits on your behalf, working with the authority have jurisdiction (AHJ) to update plans and specs to meet the AHJ’s requirements, as well as assist the design team in modifying building enclosure, waterproofing, details as required to meet the needs of the project.

Bid Phase Consulting Services

ABB provides bid assistance throughout the pre-construction process. Our services include providing bid documents, preparing Requests for Bid, soliciting contractors, scheduling, and attending the pre-bid meeting, reviewing contractor questions and providing bid addenda, reviewing bids and providing the client with a bid matrix for side-by-side comparison.

Mock-Up Testing and Consulting Services

ABB assists contractors, architects, and owners to accurately procure and competitively bid sub-contractor scope of work. Often, sub-contractors propose alternate materials and provide clarification and exclusions during the bid. This is a critical phase of the project, which requires careful consideration to understand design impacts for costs and risks.

Contract Administration Services

ABB will assist with contract selection that best meets the needs of the client. We will review contractor and subcontractor bids and assist with negotiations on behalf of the client as well as manage the contract throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA / QC) Services
