Hillsboro Data Center
Allana Buick & Bers, Inc. (ABB) was retained by HITT Contracting to provide building envelope peer review services and limited CA services for the new construction data center project located in Hillsboro, Oregon.
The Client requested ABB to provide building enclosure peer review consulting and limited construction phase services for this project. The project consisted of a new two-story core and shell building with generator yard and development of the western part of the campus.
The building consists of roughly 45,000 square feet (SF) of shell office space and 520,000 SF of shell data hall space. The shell spaces were built out in later phases. The building is constructed of predominantly, insulated precast panels with limited composite metal panels and curtain wall glazing systems.
ABB’s scope of work for this project included construction document review, limited construction phase consulting, and on-site mock-ups.
