Allana Buick & Bers, Inc. (ABB) performed professional services for the San Francisco International Airport under a five year continuing contract.

ABB provided architectural and engineering design, construction document preparation, construction administration and building envelope design and renovation.

Our initial involvement was for the South Terminal and its associated boarding areas and pertained to the enormous quantity of leaks in the building. The scope of the construction eventually included roof replacement with upgraded insulation, augmented roof slopes, mechanical equipment supports, roof drainage improvements, wall waterproofing, metal wall panels, curtain wall restoration, and skylight modifications. Our designers and consultants prepared the construction documents for the roof replacement and curtain wall restoration. Additionally, our field technicians and project managers investigated the sources of the leaks.
