2nd Place in People’s Choice Awards for Urban Design Excellence
Rooster Apartments in Seattle, Washington took home 2nd place in the People’s Choice Awards for Urban Design Excellence. Allana Buick & Bers (ABBAE) teamed with Weinstein AU Architects and Urban Designers to complete Rooster Apartments. ABBAE completed the building envelope design of the apartments, giving the building warmth and functionality. ABBAE is detailed with material selection; the cost-effective cladding and fenestration elevates the quality and urban-feel, which suits the building type.
Location
The apartments sit along an active, commercial street with restaurants and storefronts, and a broad sidewalk allows for easy pedestrian traffic.
