Allana Buick & Bers, Inc. (ABBAE) was retained by Federal Investment Realty Trust (FRIT) to provide building envelope leak investigation for Escondido Promenade located at 1266 Auto Park Way in Escondido, California.
Escondido Promenade is a 222,000 SF shopping center, constructed in 1987. Significant water intrusion occurred after a facade renovation, a PVC roof replamcent, and the replacement of an exterior metal awning.
ABBAE was retained to provide an extensive leak investigation of the facade, storefront, and roofing systems. Additionally, destructive testing was performed for the exterior stucco cladding. ABBAE provided remedial construction documents.
