The REWC registration is administered by RCI from its international headquarters in Raleigh, NC and is rapidly gaining recognition throughout North America as a key element preferred by building owners, public and private, when retaining the services of an exterior wall consultant.

RCI was founded in 1983 as a 501 (c)(6) nonprofit organization and its professional members offer unbiased design, repair planning, quality assurance, legal testimony and general roofing, waterproofing, and exterior wall services.  RCI’s exterior wall consultants adhere to a strict code of ethics that offers unprejudiced professional services without affiliation with any product or manufacturer.

Mr. Lambert has been with ABBAE for over 11 years and joined us directly from graduating from Rutgers University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Petersen has been successfully growing and managing the Seattle office, maintaining a backlog of work, acting as an expert witness and providing technical leadership. Prior to opening the Seattle office, Mr. Lambert assisted in launching our Los Angeles office where he was Divisional Manager and a Consultant.

Mr. Lambert provides building envelope, roofing, waterproofing, and exterior wall systems expertise on both existing buildings and new construction. He also oversees project planning, production, team management, and client management for the region. He is a registered professional engineer in California and Washington is an RCI Registered Roofing Consultant (RRC).

The Top Engineering Firms list is a survey questionnaire that was sent before the end of the calendar year, with the revenue reflecting the previous Fiscal Year. Silicon Valley includes: Santa Clara County; Fremont, Newark and Union City in Alameda County; Atherton, Belmont, East Palo Alto, Foster City, Menlo Park, Portola Valley, Redwood City, San Carlos, San Mateo and Woodside in San Mateo County; and San Benito, Santa Cruz and Monterey counties.

The Cupertino Union School District is located in the southern portion of the San Francisco Bay Area in California. There are 20 neighborhood elementary schools and five neighborhood middle schools in the District.

The District is engaged in ongoing new construction and major modernization projects, site development and planning, growth projects, and area wide planning associated with the passage of a local bond issue. Using the anticipated bond funds, the District will be renovating, modernizing, and constructing facilities over a six to eight-year period.

Allana Buick & Bers Celebrates 25th Anniversary

“It has also been our 25^th year anniversary this year and I am proud to be serving our clients to improve the performance of buildings and to make this world a better place.  When we started 25 years ago, we were mostly a roofing consulting firm, focused on longer lasting roofs which required less maintenance. Mr. Kuivanen has more than 28 years of architectural experience, primarily in the forensic investigation of building failures and remedial design solutions for commercial and residential buildings.

His experience includes investigating building enclosure systems and designing and performing construction administration for the repairs to waterproofing, roofing, and exterior wall systems. Mr. Kuivanen has provided expert testimony on construction defects for both residential and commercial buildings that have involved litigation.

He has published papers and given lectures on mold and moisture intrusion in buildings, maintenance and repair of building waterproofing and exterior wall systems, codes and restrictions that apply to common interest developments, and the process of building repair and reconstruction.

Mr. Kuivanen has a BA in Architecture from Iowa State University and a Masters in Architecture from the University of Minnesota. He is a Registered Architect in California, Arizona, Florida, Minnesota, Texas, and Nevada.  He most recently was a principal at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger in Los Angeles.
