Construction Monitor

The Construction Monitor will be involved in the investigation and quality control of various aspects of new and remedial construction projects. We are looking for candidates with the following experience and qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of inspection and construction observation/monitoring experience working as a monitor/observer, inspector, foreman or superintendent in the construction industry. Experience providing monitoring inspection services for multi-family residential, institutional and commercial construction projects. Familiarity or expertise in roofing, waterproofing, stucco, siding, windows, sealants and other building envelope areas. Ability to observe construction activities, verify compliance with contract documents, plans and specifications and identify installation defects. Ability to produce and maintain daily reports and records of construction activities. ICC or RRO certification a plus. Knowledge of the State of California construction standards. 2 to 4 year college level education; a degree in architecture, civil engineering or a similar field a plus.

Building Envelope Consultant

The Building Envelope Consultant will be responsible for conducting field investigations and condition assessments in addition to developing construction documents, details and specifications. Candidates with RRC, RWC or similar certifications are preferred.

Jr Engineer/Building Technologist

The Building Technologist may assist with construction project management, building evaluation and assessment, assistance with the preparation of construction drawings, specifications and reports, engineering/architecture CAD design, calculations, take-off’s, gathering field information and measurements, and forensic investigation of failed building systems. Qualified candidates will typically hold a bachelors degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a similarly related field from an accredited university. Previous construction experience is preferred and building envelope experience is highly desirable.
